About
Treca Bourne, EdD, CPTD, is a strategic and human-focused talent development leader influencing efforts that improve individual and organizational effectiveness. She is the talent development lead practitioner for Fairfax County Government, where she leads the talent development function for the largest publicly funded behavioral health care provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia—Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board.
Bourne’s career has involved an array of experiences as an educator, facilitator, designer, and collaborator with educators, facilitators, and designers in educational institutions and workplaces. In those roles, she helped learners and workers acquire, develop, and apply capabilities and mindsets to advance individual and organizational goals.
Bourne earned a doctor of education degree in higher education and community college leadership from Morgan State University, a master of education degree in educational administration from the University of New Orleans, and a bachelor of arts degree with honors in political science with a business administration minor from Loyola University New Orleans. Along with additional certificates and certifications, she is a Certified Professional in Talent Development.
