Valerie Lingeman, MA, PCC, is an executive, leadership, and team coach whose professional experience is rooted in her 25-year career in the national security sector. As a federal leader, Valerie has managed people and programs in line operations functions; provided organization development (OD) consulting services for a 400-person division; created an experiential leadership learning program supporting enterprise-level succession planning; designed, facilitated, and instructed high-potential leader development courses, cohort programs, and peer learning groups; and helped define a strategy to evaluate coaching ROI.

In 2010, Valerie founded Double Helix Learning LLC, which specializes in coaching leaders and leadership teams because they are the single most critical link for achieving organizational success. If leaders get it right at the top, they earn credibility and trust with the rest of the organization, and change is exponentially more achievable.

Valerie brings 20 years of experience as an OD professional to her coaching work. She invites clients to draw on cognitive, emotional, intuitive, and relationship intelligences to shift perspectives, expand thinking, and create more capacity to make change.

In 2017, Valerie co-founded the Career Exploration Group (CXG) with Leslie Speidel. CXG helps people in the school-to-career transition years learn how to navigate the evolving 21st-century economy and find good-fit careers. CXG emphasizes self-discovery and experiential career exploration—foundational skills that serve clients as their interests, strengths, and values continue to evolve over the lifespan.
