Yahia Ali Maklad has been working in the field of learning & development for more than 20 years with diverse exposure to different industries such as banking, construction, telecommunication “ISP”, sales and distribution, governmental sector, insurance brokerage, and consulting sector. He started his career in banking and corporations in 2004, focusing on the effectiveness of training workshops conducted in such organizations and on managing multiple markets with diverse cultural backgrounds. His main focus is improving the organization's performance by assessing all aspects/factors related to human performance to identify the desired vs. actual performance gap, then proposing realistic solutions to overcome it using the ATD Human Performance Improvement Model. Yahia is also passionate about designing and delivering development journeys. As a trainer and facilitator, he has 16 years of experience delivering workshops across the MENA region (Qatar, KSA, Dubai, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait) for various industries and management topics.

Yahia Maklad is a certified Master Performance Consultant with the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and an accredited facilitator for the FranklinCovey "7 Habits of Highly Effective People 4.0" program. He is a certified facilitator of Ken Blanchard's Situational Leadership II model and a Learning & Development Gamification Designer certified by SENTENTIA USA. Yahia's facilitation credentials include certification as an Experiential Facilitator from SEGA Egypt, as well as Certified Manager as a Coach from SEGA Egypt. Additionally, Yahia holds an ROI Certification from Jack Philips & EBI, and is a Certified Synthosys UK 4C Culture Assessor. He is also a certified facilitator for SIMDUSTRY Simulations. Yahia also holds a Train the Trainer diploma from the Regional Information Technology Institute (RITI) and a human resources certificate from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
