Companies that operate in industries with high compliance demands face unique challenges when it comes to driving employee engagement and innovation. The Association for Talent Development (ATD) designed the new Talent Development Across Industries (TDI) conference to address these challenges and inspire attendees. Focused on sharing best practices across the manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services industries, TDI, sponsored by Intrepid by VitalSource, brings together talent development professionals from these highly regulated industries to learn from one another.

The event will be held October 18 and 19 at the Yale School of Management campus in New Haven, CT, and will be keynoted by New York Times bestselling author Dan Schwabel and internationally recognized speaker Liz Weber.

“TDI provides an opportunity for people to step out of the box of assumptions about what does and doesn’t work when it comes to compliance training, engagement, and innovation,” says Ryan Changcoco, senior community manager at ATD. “The beauty of the program is that people who face similar challenges but operate in different contexts will be able to learn from each other, collaborate on ideas, and leave with actionable next steps.”

Attendees will come away with useful data on how to improve their culture and employee engagement, compliance training, and change management practices, as well as insights into the latest learning technologies, trends, and leadership development practices.
