The bimonthly podcast The Accidental Trainer will offer valuable insights about how to develop a training career.
(Alexandria, VA) January 21, 2020—The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is pleased to announce the launch of The Accidental Trainer, a new bimonthly podcast sponsored by GP Strategies. Learning technology expert Elliott Masie will be among the first guests featured on the podcast in February.
The Accidental Trainer is for corporate trainers and talent development professionals who may not have formal education in the field yet find themselves in these roles because of subject matter expertise or business needs. Every two weeks an industry expert will join host Lisa Spinelli, content manager at ATD, to discuss his path to becoming a talent development professional and valuable insights for listeners about how to develop a training career.
Masie, a learning technology expert who founded and runs the Masie Center, will join the podcast to discuss the viability of using personal technology in training. He will be taped live from the Consumer Technology Association’s annual trade show, CES, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His episode will air February 5, 2020.
Previously recorded episodes can be downloaded and include interviews with the creator of the top 50 HR blog HR Bartender, Sharlyn Lauby, management development expert Whitney Johnson, and talent development experts Bev Kaye, William Arruda, Chad Udell, and JD Dillon.
