Job aids provide information about when or how to perform a task, thus reducing the amount of recall needed and minimizing error while performers are doing a task. They help reduce training time and support learning. Use this tool when designing job aids to make sure you consider all key design elements. This tool was adapted from the self-paced course, Designing and Developing Learning Materials , part of ATD’s online course library.
