Angel Birch
ABOUT ME

Angel Birch serves as SVP, Director Learning and Leadership Development.  In this role, she is responsible for leading internal communications, talent development and associate readiness efforts designed to provide information and enable capabilities directly linked to and in support of the organization’s goals, strategic objectives, and talent strategies.  An advocate for diversity and inclusion, Angel serves on the leadership team for Seacoast’s Women Mean Business associate resource group and as a member of both the Black Associates & Allies Network and the bank’s LGBT+ associate resource group.

Before joining Seacoast Angel was a Leadership and Colleague Development Manager at Sage responsible for identifying organizational needs, talent gaps, and performance opportunities to inform the design of optimal development solutions. 

Before Sage, Angel spent 13 years at Bank of America.  Her Bank of America tenure began in the Consumer Bank as a Personal Banker where she worked both in the banking center as well as the in-stores. As her career progressed, she served in a variety of learning and leadership development roles.  More than half of her time at the bank was in the role of a Leadership Development Client Manager where she supported many different lines of businesses as a strategic business consultant. Combining strong organizational development and change management skills she was responsible for providing consultative support to lead the design, development, and implementation of leadership development solutions supporting multiple priorities and initiatives with significant impact on customer and financial results.

Angel holds an MS, Human Resources Development from Villanova University and a BS, Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park.  She is DFSS Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
