I help my company achieve its mission of providing safe, reliable, competitively-priced electric, natural gas, water and waste water services to the citizen owners and customers of Colorado Springs Utilities. I do this by collaborating with clients to identify underlying business challenges and focus on developing meaningful and measurable solutions for the business. I am well-versed in ADDIE, SAM, Action Mapping, 6Ds (Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning) concepts and constantly focus on discovering how training can help clients achieve their business goals. I strive to develop valued and strategic partnerships with my clients and to be the best consultant (trusted advisor) possible, as it pertains to solving business problems and identifying and developing solutions that actually change behavior and improve performance. Rita Smith says it best in her book “Strategic Learning Alignment, “The only reason that learning functions exist is to drive business outcomes.”
