Award-winning,multi-qualified HR professional, Co-Active Coach and International speaker with over two decades of combined HR and major business vertical experience with a passion for bringing out the best in people. A people-centered leader thought-leader who creates a caring culture that motivates all levels of workers to give of their best; someone who has first-hand experience of most levels of business together with the ‘helicopter vision’ to contribute to the strategy of combining functional excellence with sustainable results.

Trusted advisor to C-suite executives and leaders at all levels to design and implement cutting-edge performance management processes, talent management solutions, job family frameworks and competency models; leadership assessment and high-potential development. 

Over the past five years, my primary focus has been in managing all aspects of organizational effectiveness trough the design and development of a bespoke award-winning and business-focused Corporate University with a view of driving transformational changes in areas of reinventing culture, engagement and performance.

Achievements:

  • Strategically led and implemented the organization’s Employee Engagement practice over the past 9 years to position ADCB as one of the World’s leading banks in Employee Effectivenes.
  • Launched AMBITION University, the bank’s Corporate University, to deliver business focused learning and manage 4 Academies: Business, Emarati, Leadership & Management, and Organisational Excellence.
  • Implemented a Board-approved strategy for a Unified Credit & Risk Culture involving 350 staff across multiple business verticals, leading to significant reduction in cost of risk.
  • Jointly with Results Based Leadership (US), provided essential skills training in a Leadership Program for the Bank’s Executive Leadership team and a Strategy Alignment workshop for Human Resources.
  • Partnered with McKinsey to co-create a Sales methodology in Retail Banking.
  • Joined forces with ADCB India to up-date all HR policies and practices including Performance Management, pay reviews, training, alignment of grade structures, job titles and more.
  • Linked with the Group Operational Risk Team to track all HR Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Introduced the Employee Recognition Program (Tamayuz), ensuring a common and consistent standard for assessing and rewarding employee behaviour and performance.
  • Project managed the smooth integration of ~1,100 employees on acquisition of RBS UAE by ADCB.
  • Developed ADCB’s Talent Management and Succession Planning framework.
  • Re-aligned the Bank from its pre-2005 passive-entitlement approach to being performance-based.
  • Built an internationally recognized Wealth Manager internationally accredited certification led to a 92% increase in Assets Under Management (AUM).
  • Set up the GBS Business School, offering an 18-month Masters & Bachelors Program in Operational Excellence, to be followed by a B-school diploma program in Operations.
