Karen Millsap

A training expert, Karen R. Millsap has a demonstrated track record of achievements as a speaker, trainer, and coach whose passion is bringing out the very best in the people. Her mission in life is to help individuals and organizations identify opportunities to shine through improved performance, the demonstration of strengths, and the pursuit of making a difference in the world. 

Mrs. Millsap has over 15 years of experience in developing and delivering technical and soft skilled training programs.  She has traveled extensively as a training conference quest speaker regarding computer-based training and have delivered customer service training for General American and Western Union in multiple site locations in various countries.  While at Airport Terminal Services, she was responsible for delivering the customer service and leadership development training at various airport stations located in the United States and Canada. 

Mrs. Millsap has been the organizational “go-to” person responsible for major new initiatives, projects and programs. Through these experiences, she understood the dynamics of running a department, managing competing priorities, cost management and day-to-day deadlines. Through collegiality and collaboration, she set mutual expectations and common standards for internal controls contributing to overall organization success.

While working as Manager of Education and Development for American Water Resources, Mrs. Millsap managed a team of fifteen Quality Assurance / Training Specialist.  She partnered with AWR management team to ensure targeted training was performed consistently and was conducive to learning along with auditing company processes and procedures.  In addition to managing the quality Assurance and training responsibilities, Mrs. Millsap also was the Project Lead for Training, Change Partner Network, and Knowledge Transfer for the development of the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement Solutions (CRM) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation for approximately 1,000 team members.

Mrs. Millsap received hers M.A, Education – Adult Education and Training from University of Phoenix and her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.
