In 2018, Katie Gerwitz transitioned into instructional design and corporate training after spending 10 years in secondary education.

Katie is an Instructional Design Specialist at Ball Corporation and creates training programs for the aluminum packaging manufacturing plants across North and Central America. She focuses on functional processes within the plants applying safety, quality, and lean principles in the training programs.

When she is not developing training, you can find her hiking, biking, snowshoeing, surfing the Sand Dunes, camping, backpacking, completing puzzles, or playing card games.
