Mariam Hutchinson is a part-time independent consultant. From 2008 until 2017 she served a variety of roles within the learning and development team at Booz Allen Hamilton including facilitator, instructional designer, and program manager. Her expertise stretched across curriculum areas and included onboarding, consulting skills, leadership development, and functional skills training. Her last role as L&D learning strategist was focused on managing internal and external communications and outreach for all firmwide L&D initiatives, as well as team development and individual professional development opportunities for the corporate learning team.
Hutchinson has an MS in organization development and knowledge management, as well as a certificate in leadership studies from George Mason University. She has completed certificate programs in coaching and instructional design, is an MBTI-certified practitioner, and has a Kirkpatrick silver level certification.
Hutchinson’s previous work outside of Booz Allen included experience in a variety of program management and training roles in the financial services, nonprofit, and higher education industries. She is an experienced facilitator with the ATD Forum Labs.
