ABOUT ME

My name is Tim Morris and I am a special agent with 19 years of solid and progressive experience within the federal law enforcement arena. I began my career as a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service, Office of Investigations in 2001. Following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, U.S. Customs was merged into the newly-created Department of Homeland Security. In 2009, I transferred to the Office of Inspector General which is the Internal Affairs component within Homeland Security.

Throughout my career, I have led various investigations to include international & domestic drug trafficking, computer crimes, public corruption, embezzlement, civil rights violations, financial crimes & I have conducted fugitive investigations while working with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. I am highly skilled at managing and coordinating large teams, programs and operational components at all levels.

I am a certified DISC Training Coordinator with an expertise in the area of behavioral analysis. I have also served in several other training capacities to include Recruitment, Defensive Tactics, Physical Fitness and Field Training Instruction. To date, I have combined my training and development background with the onset of technology and web-based deliverables. My goal is to help my agency implement measures connected to diversity, sensitivity training and law enforcement relations within the community. I look forward to learning more about instructional design and eLearning development.
