I'm at a cross roads for trying to revamp a training program around sales.  What are some of the latest and greatest modalities being used to deliver retail sales training?

(2 of 2) While formal sales training is still important, essentially, sales enablement as a field is moving primarily towards performance support. In addition to that, we’re seeing more and more the use of video, not only in sales training but also as a part of sales coaching programs through role-playing exercises. Beyond that, gamified sales training is also popular because salespeople are, by nature, very competitive. I hope this helps! (Check out https://www.td.org/topics/sales-enablement)

(1 of 2) Hi Schenukia- Sales training is moving in the direction of just-in-time, personalized, in-context learning opportunities (interwoven with the sales process and the environment in which sales people operate daily). This means that we’re seeing more micro-content integrated into the CRM and segmented in different ways to make for a very tailored learning experience when and how salespeople need it.
