How often is recertification required?	Every 3 years
What are the requirements?	Earn recertification points: 40 points for APTD; 60 points for CPTD; retake the exam. Pay the application fee: ($150 for APTD; $200 for CPTD) Submit the application
How do I get recertification points?	Through professional development activities including continuing education on topics outlined in the Talent Development Capability Model.
Where do I report the professional development points?	Enter points into the ATD Certification portal any time during the certification cycle.
When and where can I submit the application?	Access the ATD Certification portal. The application is open during the 3-month period before expiration. Report all professional development points and payment to enable application submittal.
Where can I get more details to meet the requirements?	The Recertification Guide outlines the requirements, details about acceptable professional development activities, and a job aid for reporting points and applying.
