The ALC PAC is charged with reviewing and recommending session proposals for ALC, identifying programming gaps, and recommending topics and speakers to fill those gaps. The ALC PAC solicits conference sponsors, recommends keynote speakers, and serves as the host committee during the conference. ALC PAC members attend the conference and collect feedback from attendees regarding areas of success or improvement. The ALC PAC term is one year in length.
Each year the ALC PAC accepts applications from chapter leaders interested in serving a one-year term on the advisory committee for the upcoming year. Candidates should have served at least one year as a chapter board member and attended ALC while serving as a chapter leader. Current chapter leaders should not apply to serve on the ALC PAC during the year of their presidential term.
