4 Out of 10 Learning Executives Expect a Funding Increase Says LXCI

Learning executives remain optimistic about the health of learning, with the Learning Executive Confidence Index (LXCI) score for the second quarter of 2015 at 68.0. This is slightly lower than the very high score of 68.8 last quarter but over two points higher than the score of 65.7 exactly one year ago (the second quarter of 2014). The score is nearly 13 points higher than the historic low of 55.1 from Q1 2009, and less than two points below the historic high score of 69.9 from Q4 2013.

Four out of 10 learning executives expect to see an increase in funding for learning in the next six months. At the other end of the spectrum, 16 percent of participants actually expect to see a funding drop. The remaining 44 percent expect funding to remain stable.
