Even house pets and wildlife seem to feel that energy in the air—the need to break free from the confines of winter.

Change your look. If you’ve had the same haircut for a while, consider a new style. Buy a few new pieces of clothing or great accessories that will refresh and update your image.

Explore new places. Chances are there are dozens of places you've never been in your neighborhood. Get out and explore some of these different venues. Eat at that little dive you've always wondered about; wander through the gallery that always has interesting pieces in their windows; take a weekend drive to new destination.

Host a “gratitude lunch” at work. Being grateful isn’t limited to the holidays. Sure, going around the table during the holidays to give thanks is always a good idea, but we should be giving thanks daily to the folks we see all week! Share a meal with your co-workers and take a moment to appreciate one another.
