Amplifying Your Wins – Scaling What Works Across Sales & L&D
Remember to recognize your wins–even the small ones.
Wed Oct 08 2025
It’s easy to spend most of our time focusing on what’s broken. We fixate on the gaps, the missing resources, or the programs that didn’t land. But just as important is taking a step back to see what is actually working—and asking how we can do more of it. Wins, even small ones, can often be expanded into something bigger if we take the time to recognize them.
Take one company I worked with that introduced a simple manager-led coaching ritual. Every Friday, managers spent 15 minutes with each rep reviewing one recorded call and giving targeted feedback. It wasn’t flashy, and it didn’t require a big budget. But within a few months, reps were showing sharper skills on live calls and closing deals faster. Leadership realized they had stumbled onto a powerful formula. The win was small at first, but by equipping every manager across regions to adopt the same ritual, they amplified its impact company-wide.
These kinds of stories remind us that enablement doesn’t always require a brand-new initiative or a major investment. Sometimes the biggest opportunities are found in what’s already working. When you take a win and intentionally scale it, you not only improve performance but also build credibility with your stakeholders. Leaders notice when an existing program delivers outsized results. Reps notice when something meaningful actually sticks. And your L&D partners notice when you bring forward a practice that can benefit the broader organization.
Amplifying wins also changes how your team sees progress. Instead of chasing the next shiny object, you create a culture of doubling down on what delivers. That mindset builds momentum. People become more willing to experiment because they know small successes will be celebrated and expanded. And over time, those small successes add up to big, sustained improvements in capability and performance.
The challenge, of course, is making time to identify these wins in the first place. Too often, they hide in plain sight. They may be tucked away in a single team or running quietly in the background without fanfare. Spotting them takes reflection, peer conversation, and an eye for patterns.
That is exactly what we’ll be doing together at SELL 2025 in Phoenix. Through case studies, breakout discussions, and our Goal Boards, we’ll surface the wins that others have amplified and help you recognize your own. You’ll leave not just with new ideas, but with clarity on how to take the sparks of success already in your organization and turn them into a consistent rhythm for 2026.
