The Looking Glass--a liquid-crystal-display LCD projection panel--appeared in the Presentaton Projects column of the September 1989 issue of Training & Development Journal. Presenters can change colors of the images with a built-in electronic pointer. Except for the color part of it, it reminds of the Etch-A-Sketch, which also had a pointer that you could use to draw on the screen.
Technology changed the way facilitators presented their information, and new technological ideas helped keep students engaged in learning.
