This image portrays the intricacies of international HRD--cultures, lifestyles, and diverse economic, demographic, and political conditions--and gives workplace learning and professionals a model for how to approach and design training around these differences. This image, where each cell represents a unique international HRD interaction for which certain considerations and component activities are appropriate, appeared in the October 1981 issue of Training and Development Journal.
