When professionals—talent development and otherwise—attend conferences, they often learn as much outside the sessions as they do by attending the program sessions themselves. That could include a fortuitous connection with someone who overcame a challenge similar to the one you are dealing with now, who can share what they learned. Or it could be the beginning of a yearslong friendship after laughing together as you both struggled with developing a new skill during an after-hours activity.

And, because TD leaders know that learning isn't one and done, the ATD26 Attendee Group will remain open for three months after the conference, so attendees can continue to share their takeaways and how they're implementing what they learned.
