Are you a chief talent development officer, chief of human resources, or talent development executive? How about an aspiring TD senior leader seeking professional development? Are you looking for advice and insights that speak to the executive-level situations you face each day? CTDO magazine is designed specifically for you.

Launched in 2015, ATD developed this free quarterly publication to offer current and aspiring C-suite leaders a high-level look at the top trends in talent development and provide practical solutions to the challenges and situations you face in the field. Recent articles have explored the talent transformation for the digital transformation, how to turn a diversity statement into inclusive action, how to use learning agility to navigate the future, and ways to refresh your learning strategy.

The publication’s mission is to empower readers to create a world that works better. “We created CTDO magazine to be the premier resource for senior leaders in talent development,” says Ann Parker, senior content manager for ATD. “This publication is written by and for executives who are passionate about advancing their careers and shaping the future of talent development.”

Each issue features a Spotlight article, an in-depth profile of a talent development thought leaders. Recent Spotlights have included Corey Muñoz, chief learning officer and partner at KPMG US; Eileen MacDonald Cooke, vice president of enterprise learning, development and performance at CVS Health; Ann Schulte, global leader of learning and leadership development at Procter & Gamble; and Michael Dorsey, chief learning officer at the Maryland Department of Human Services.

Additionally, issues include articles on current, macro-level, global issues as well as content that explores top challenges C-suite talent development executives face, such as measuring impact and effectiveness, leadership development, digital transformation, and succession planning.

“ATD understands that talent development executives work hard to show the business impact of their initiatives and to maintain a seat at the C-suite table,” Parker says. “CTDO spurs leaders to think about how their efforts achieve such an impact and to cultivate the skills needed to drive strategy and results at their organizations.”

CTDO is a digital publication available online at td.org/CTDO and via the ATD Publications app (td.org/pubsapp). Follow us on Twitter (@ctdomag).
