Everyone is familiar with the saying, “a picture is worth 1,000 words.” It must be true, as evidenced by the popularity of infographics.
Wikipedia defines infographics as “graphic visual representations of information, data, or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends.”
Perhaps a look at a few infographics on the various instructional design models will bring them into focus.
