The International Partner and Delegation Leader Recognition Reception was held on June 1, 2009, at the ASTD 2009 International Conference & Exposition in Washington, DC. ASTD's Global Networks and Global Partners were recognized for their 2008 activities. We appreciate their valuable support for workplace learning and performance professionals in their respective countries, and we are pleased to recognize their accomplishments in 2008. Also recognized were two non-partner organizations that provided outstanding international support in 2008.

The recognition program was led by ASTD President & CEO Tony Bingham, with 2009 Chair Jim Caprara of Ciena and 2009 Chair Elect Rob Lauber of Yum! Brands. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed a lovely reception with wine and a wide selection of Mediterranean hors d'oeuvres. Further details and photos will be posted soon.
