ASTD International Partner The Learning Sanctuary (TLS) - at Learning Technologies Conference & Learning and Skills Expo, Olympia, 27/28 January

As part of a membership drive we took a stand at the expo to promote the benefits of ASTD in the UK. With over 2,000 people attending we met over 100 individuals who expressed a strong interest and have already seen membership increase. The stand was supported by ASTD who provided excellent materials for the prospective members, In-Sync EU Ltd who delivered the synchronous certificates in the UK and Mohive Ltd who also provided memory sticks for those who expressed a desire to join.

The organisers (Principal Media) were also generous in providing support in raising the profile of TLS and ASTD within the UK. Five lucky new members who signed up at the event were the winners of ASTD donated books! The stand was manned by Neville Pritchard (The Learning Sanctuary), David Smith (In-Sync EU), Gordon Bull (ASTD Board member) and members Nigel Paine and Caroline Payne. We must also thank Angie Cartwright of BT who attended the conference and has shared her learning with all UK members by completing TLS Shared Learning template - an excellent start!
