(From AMEinfo.com) -- Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) will become a 'mobile MBA campus' for Manchester Business School (MBS) from March 19th to April 7th, as the Middle East MBA students (almost 1,000 executive MBA students from across the region - all experienced working professionals) and more than 25 top faculty from MBS gather for the twice-yearly face to face workshops in Dubai. The workshops are the largest ever hosted by MBS anywhere in the world. Visiting faculty will also run seminars which are open to the public and free of charge.
During the workshops, faculty from the business school will deliver a range of MBA programme modules such as 'perspectives of leadership', 'working collaboratively', 'law and ethics in global business', and 'project management', among other modules. MBS faculty running the workshops include Professor Bob Ryan, one of the world's most celebrated financial educators, and Dr David Bamford, an experienced industrialist/academic and recipient of the University of Manchester Distinguished Achievement Medal, Teacher of the Year 2009, amongst other awards.
In addition, visiting MBS academics have organised the following open seminars:
• March 20: Centre for Infrastructure Development at Manchester Business School, Prof Nuno Gil
• March 24: What scientists and sailors can teach Finance - Prof Bob Ryan
• March 27: Ensuring Project Success- Prof David Bamford
