It has been one year since the first “Inside L&D” newsletter arrived in inboxes throughout the community. Thanks to all of you for subscribing, commenting, and contributing over the last 12 months.
Some of you might remember the conference wrap-up I wrote in 2012 about “post-conference buzz” (which we might lovingly term “PCB”) and all that it entails. Next month, I will share with you my ASTD 2013 conference wrap-up and some of the buzz from Dallas, so be on the lookout for that.
In the meantime, since some of you may be already returning from this year’s International Conference & EXPO (and, hopefully, your PCB is still going strong), here are a few reflection questions for you:
How do you set priorities for new tasks you’d like to accomplish after a conference or learning event?
What do you do with your new professional contacts? Do you actively make them a part of your network and start connecting and sharing right away?
What’s one example of an idea you got at a conference or learning event that developed into a major change or organizational initiative?
Head to the comment section below and share your answers. As always, I look forward to what you have to say!
