Nanci Appleman-Vassil and Gale Mote are facilitating the upcoming ATD workshop LearnNow: Flipped Classroom. Still a new concept in talent development and adult learning, the flipped classroom methodology helps maximize face time with learners by integrating the best of classroom learning with self-directed, learner-generated activities.

Nanci is a highly experienced business professional with more than 20 years of experience facilitating individuals, groups, and organizations toward better solutions for increased engagement and effectiveness. And for 25 years, Gale has been designing and delivering motivational workshops and training classes for all types of industries and organizations. When people come to Gale’s presentations and workshops, they usually leave with one key question: “Where does she get that energy?”

Nanci and Gale teach the LearnNow: Flipped Classroom workshop with a flipped classroom approach, so that you can experience it firsthand while learning how to create a more collaborative environment that is truly learner-centric. I recently interviewed them to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities presented by flipped classroom.

In our Q&A podcast, we explore some of the nuts and bolts of this important training methodology, as well as what learners can expect in the workshop.
