Absent from the President’s State of the Union speech were new programs with a direct impact on federal employees. The one exception was the new federal minimum wage for federal contractors participating in new federal contracts going forward.

The chart illustrates how the administration’s policies have affected federal workers across a range of issues including telework, expansion of benefits, collective bargaining, limitations on travel and conference participation, among others.
