The business problems with which talent development practitioners grapple are only getting more complex, with rapid advances in technology, changing employee expectations, and the need to communicate and innovate in new ways. To learn how they might address those challenges in their own organizations, L&D practitioners can take advantage of such advances as peer-to-peer learning, proven practices, and advice from others in the field.
Those types of learning are some of the benefits of the ATD Forum, a consortium for TD leaders and their organizations to connect, collaborate, and share in a confidential environment.
During ATD25, attendees of ATD Forum-sponsored sessions will be able to use tools, frameworks, and cross-industry benchmarking to expand their leadership skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
One session, “Want Solutions That Work? Do a Deep Dive,” takes place on both Monday, May 19 from 1 to 2 p.m. and Tuesday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The programs (facilitated by Forum member companies MAREK, bioMerieux, Gant Travel, and American Bureau of Shipping) give participants an opportunity to use a collaborative solution tool to delve into performance challenges and gain a more strategic approach to problem solving.
Compare your leadership pipeline and development approach to other organizations on Monday, May 19 during “Fueling Growth and Success Through Talent Investments,” led by senior TD leaders from Grainger. Benchmark your approach against that of peers and learn a new framework to plan your leadership development strategy. The session takes place from 3 to 4 p.m.
Examine how other companies, including the ones that win awards, cultivate high levels of performance in “Connect, Collaborate, Share: Unleash Innovative Performance Opportunities With Peer Benchmarking,” on Tuesday, May 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. 84 Lumber, Phillips 66, and Atlantic Union Bank will share techniques to supercharge your learning team’s creativity.
In a case study, learning leaders from Booz Allen Hamilton will share their strategy for empowering workforce development and approaches to drive organizational growth in “Unlock Your Organization’s Potential Using the Wow Factor” on Wednesday, May 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Participants in each of the five sessions will leave with a series of resources and toolkits to download. Learn more about how using peer-to-peer learning to solve business challenges works at Forum sessions.
All sessions are in Room 101.
