Can You Teach a Computer Customer Service?

Much has been said about the role artificial intelligence (AI) and automation as a whole will play in the future of the workplace. Already we see technology successfully performing functions that previously required people. To do this, however, machinery needs existing data and criteria set by people to make logical sense of that data. Despite any alarmist news that implies all human jobs will be replaced by equipment, remember that computers still need humans to manage them effectively and that technology is created by humans for serving human needs.
