CASE STUDY: Maintaining Educational Records: The Move Away from Paper

Employee educational records have historically been captured on paper and kept in employee personnel files at the unit level. Some challenges presented by this method are the reliability of records, the challenge to produce official reports for regulatory agencies, and the inability--or time-delay--of transferring educational records if an employee moves to another department.
