Coaching, Not Training, May Provide Needed Results

If you read corporate education books, one thing becomes apparent: C_oaching_ means different things to different people. While some think it is a competency unto itself, others use the word interchangeably with consulting or mentoring. Still others think that it is persuasion, the convincing of others to do the right thing. And, for some, it is having all the answers and making sure that others know them. So, who's right and who's wrong, and where do the differences lie?
