Good News: Majority of Organizations Have High Alignment

Between half and two-thirds of organizations could be characterized as having high alignment between business goals and learning goals. These organizations have better market performance compared with organizations with lower levels of alignment. This is a key finding of  Aligning for Success: Connecting Learning to Business Performance, a 2015 ATD Research study that relies on interviews conducted by ATD Research with top learning executives at Fortune 500 companies—including Hilton Worldwide, DaVita HealthCare Partners, and United Parcel Service (UPS).
