I Could Tell You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You

When asking or being asked a question, I am sure we’ve all heard (or told) the joke, “I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you,” as if the simplest information were highly classified and available on a need-to-know basis. Unfortunately, this if often the way some people feel when trying to glean information from subject matter experts.
