Global teams are so common these days that they are often just called teams. L&D teams, as many other functions, are often located in different geographies, and often report to a leader in a different country. To add to the complexities, they most often work with different stakeholders, learning management systems, and employment laws. The leaders of these teams work with cross culture teams who often speak a different native language and have different customs. While exciting, it can come with surprises.
