Laying the proper groundwork for eventual success is a critical step in any business initiative. When it comes to learning-related measurement—whether it be program effectiveness or impact on business results—several key elements must be considered. Those include alignment of business and learning goals, inclusion of business outcomes as learning-strategy drivers, allotment of necessary resources, and definition of program scope.
