The Importance of Hard Conversations

Instructional designers want everyone to be happy—learners, co-workers, subject matter experts, leadership, organizations, and communities. Many IDs work on small teams, sometimes even just one or two people. They also have large and ever-evolving workloads. At my company, we have two IDs for a healthcare system of 13,000 people. We can’t possibly do it all.
