I remember the first time I decided that the next job I took needed to be one where the organization’s leaders “walked the talk.” I heard myself say, “This all looks great,” and can still see myself sitting in that conference room facing the hiring manager. The slightly surprised look on her face is something I also remember since the next thing I asked was, “But, do your leaders walk their talk?”
