The Value of Gratitude

When was the last time you expressed gratitude? In a period filled with so much disruption, I find this to be an easy time to get lost in all that we are giving up. Kids in the house compete for internet bandwidth and attention. Business calls are filled with interruptions. We’re all experiencing dips in productivity. Some of us are bored, and some face an overload of work. We’re not seeing loved ones or maybe we’re always in a house with them and unable to get a break. And so much more: Urgent problems to solve and needing to learn software in a hurry. Missing church services, state fairs, barbeques and parties, in-person concerts or plays. So much culture and stimulation is not available. And, just about more than anything, simply wanting a hug from another human.
