Three Keys to Classroom Engagement

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my company’s core contract instructors and facilitators for a two-day retreat. One of the real joys was sharing best practices around engagement strategies. It’s something we all deal with in training: How do we keep learners engaged so they don’t check out? Not to mention the introverts who will keep quiet and the extroverts who will end up dominating. Sound familiar? There are three keys to keeping your trainees focused and participating: get them up and moving, vary the number of people with whom they interact, and make it fun!
