Probably one of the greatest areas of potential failure for any new talent development process or training deliverable is the dreaded concept of “ownership.” In business terms within manufacturing, the word ownership is often code language for responsible or accountable—whose head will roll if an initiative fails? Ownership means identifying all of the key people across the organization who are required to make a project happen and making sure they understand the role they play.
