ATD Creates New Oman Partnership
New partnership in Oman supports the region’s evolving L&D landscape.

(Alexandria, VA), August 19, 2025—The Association for Talent Development’s Global Department recently signed a new event partnership agreement with Al Assayel for Development, launching the inaugural ATD Oman Conference & Exhibition on April 13–14, 2026, in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
This milestone marks a significant step in ATD Middle East’s mission to support the region’s fast-evolving learning and development (L&D) landscape. The expansion into Oman reflects ATD’s commitment to empowering professionals, organizations, and government entities with world-class training solutions, research-based insights, and globally recognized certification programs.
“We see great potential in Oman,” said Wei Wang, senior director of global at ATD. “The country is investing heavily in human capital development as part of Vision 2040, and there is a strong appetite for innovation in workplace learning and development. Our presence in Oman will allow us to support this momentum by equipping talent development professionals with the skills and tools they need to drive performance and growth.”
By establishing a local presence, ATD aims to:
Provide access to global best practices in talent and learning development.
Offer customized professional development programs tailored to Oman’s national workforce priorities.
Build a sustainable ecosystem of certified trainers, facilitators, and L&D leaders.
Support public and private sector entities in aligning their talent strategies with future workforce needs.
