The American Society for Training & Development announces that Marci Meaux, Vice President of Field and Partner Sales Enablement, Cisco Systems, Inc., is joining the Society's Board of Directors for a three-year term, 2012-2014.

In her current role at Cisco, Ms. Meaux partners with key constituents to understand the strategic sales objectives and align enablement activities to improve the overall productivity of sales channels. She has architected and driven adherence to an end-to-end sales enablement process that includes sales force input at each stage, simplifying the experience for the sales force while driving cost reduction.

Prior to joining Cisco, Ms. Meaux spent 13 years at Hewlett Packard (HP), where she most recently served as Vice President, Small Medium Business and Partners. In this role she expanded HP's portfolio of services and solutions by promoting new service definitions and development. Prior to HP, Meaux spent 12 years at Texas Instruments in a variety of marketing and customer communication positions.

Meaux holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in marketing from the University of Texas and has continued her education in the areas of management, quality, teamwork, customer measurement, and selling.
