[Alexandria, VA], February 28, 2025 —The Association for Talent Development (ATD) has created a strategic partnership with Competence Training Institute, headquartered in the Netherlands, to expand the reach of ATD’s learning and development programs across Europe. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in fostering professional growth and excellence in talent development.

Through this partnership, Competence will deliver six signature live-online ATD programs— focused on areas such as instructional design, facilitation skills, consulting expertise, and advanced trainer development—to a diverse territory including the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, and Poland. These programs will equip professionals and organizations with the skills and strategies needed to achieve a measurable impact in talent development.

With this partnership, ATD and Competence aim to deliver at least 12 public training sessions annually, with plans to grow this initiative in subsequent years. Competence will utilize ATD’s state-of-the-art learning platforms and resources to ensure participants gain meaningful knowledge and skills, reinforced by ATD’s globally recognized certifications.
