A leading innovation expert and one of the most influential women on Twitter are among the keynote speakers for the ASTD 2014 TechKnowledge® Conference & Exposition, being held January 22-24 at Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. TechKnowledge (TK) is one of the largest e-learning conferences and expositions in the training and development industry, and attracts more than 1,200 professionals every year.

The conference’s opening general session on Wednesday, January 22 will feature innovation expert, Jeff Dyer, whose recent book The Innovator’s DNA: Mastering the Five Skills of Disruptive Innovators identifies the behaviors of the world’s best innovators. Dyer is a highly respected researcher and in-demand consultant who will present a core set of discovery skills that constitute the code for generating innovative ideas with impact.

Amy Jo Martin, social media expert and one of Forbes’  five Most Powerful Women on Twitter, will speak at the general session on Thursday, January 23. Martin founded Digital Royalty in 2009 and is an expert on monetizing social platforms and building personal brands. She’ll talk about the new ROI – Return on Influence – and how humanization leads to social media monetization.

Artist, technologist, and educator, Kate Hartman will talk on January 24th about how people relate and communicate. She will challenge attendees to reimagine what they think they know about asking questions, telling stories, and understanding each other.

TechKnowledge 2014 will feature a mobile app to enrich the conference experience. Attendees can build their conference schedule, search for speakers, tweet from the conference, and more. TK 2014 offers nearly 90 sessions, each designed to provide an overview of trends, best practices, case studies, emerging technologies, and hands-on experiences. Conference attendees will have two ways to access information: through the standard program guide and/or their handheld mobile devices.

In addition, digital recordings of conference sessions will be included with paid registration.
