How will video-based resources impact workplace learning? That’s the topic of a live interview between Charles Fred, CEO of Modern Teacher and ATD 2015 Board Chair, and Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy. The interview will be live streamed on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 2PM E.T. Produced by KZO Innovations, the interview will explore Khan’s perspectives on the potential of video as a learning and communication tool in the workplace.
In 2013, ATD presented Sal Khan with the Champion of Learning award to recognize his work and advocacy for learning. Khan’s revolutionary efforts at the intersection of technology and learning are reflected in the Khan Academy model that leverages today’s technology to create educational tools and resources that are accessible and customizable to the individual. The model has inspired the talent development profession to re-imagine the possibilities available for adult learners in the workplace.
Charles Fred will interview Khan to learn more about his own approaches to managing and developing people now that Khan Academy has more than 80 employees. The interview will also focus on what companies, and executives within large organizations, need to be doing now to embrace today’s learning technologies.
The interview can be seen live on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 2PM ET via the KZO Innovations website and is free to view.
