Lisa Goodpaster Joins ATD’s Board of Directors

(Alexandria, VA), February 4, 2021—The Association for Talent Development (ATD) announces that Lisa Goodpaster, associate director of project management with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Carle Illinois College of Medicine, has joined the Association for Talent Development’s board of directors. She will serve a two-year term on the board (2021-2022) and will simultaneously serve as the chair of ATD’s National Advisors for Chapters (NAC).

During her almost 30-year career, Ms. Goodpaster’s talent development experience spans training and development, management, coaching, consulting, and project and program management. She has been certified by and has trained with the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Bayer Institute. Ms. Goodpaster has presented and been an advisor to her organization’s leadership development institute and currently serves as a mentor at the Illinois Leadership Center.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in community health education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned master’s degrees from the University of St. Francis in health services administration and training and development. Ms. Goodpaster has completed doctorate level courses in organizational development and behavior.

She has been an ATD member for more than 15 years. Ms. Goodpaster served nationally as a member of the ATD Chapter Recognition Committee (CRC) from 2016 to 2017 and as its chair in 2018. She has been a member of ATD’s National Advisors for Chapters since 2018.
