Mary McNevin of Signature HealthCARE Joins ASTD Board of Directors

The American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) announces that Mary McNevin, Chief Learning Officer for Signature HealthCARE, has joined the Society’s board of directors for a three-year term, 2014-2016.

Dr. McNevin focuses on driving enterprise change and accelerating learning to radically change the landscape of long-term care. Signature HealthCARE operates 88 long-term care communities in eight states with more than 15,000 employees. 

Prior to joining Signature HealthCARE, Dr. McNevin was the Vice President of Talent and Organizational Development at McCain Foods Ltd. where she launched the company’s first global learning center. It was recognized in ASTD’s Excellence in Practice Awards program in 2009, and also was recognized by the Corporate University (CorpU) Xchange for Excellence and Innovation at its 2011 Global Leadership Congress.

Dr. McNevin holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctorate in Work-based Learning Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
